    North Toronto Family Court Education Committee presents its first virtual program,

    LITIGATING IN THE NEW WORLD: How to be Successful “Remotely” (or Remotely Successful)

    Join our panel on ZOOM as we help you navigate the challenges of litigating from afar. Hear tips
    and best practices for conducting case conferences and contested motions over the phone or on
    video. There will be information on how to maximize your ZOOM experience, strategies for client
    management in the age of COVID-19, and so much MORE!

    Katie Skinner, Counsel, Children’s Aid Society of Toronto: Best practices for trials by videoconference
    Vicky Ringuette, Barrister and Solicitor: Tips and tricks to make the most of your technology
    Gilead Kay, Barrister and Solicitor: Best practices for conferences and motions by teleconference
    Chris Stankiewicz, LAWPRO, Claims Counsel: LAWPRO 101 in the virtual world

    When: Tuesday, September 29th, 2020 from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM

    Where: Online through ZOOM

    Please register in advance through the Family Lawyers’ Association at: will be sent a link and password to join the program. Please indicate your profession in your email (lawyer, social worker, city worker, law student, etc). Deadline to register: September 24, 2020.

    On the day of, please join the program at the following time, based on the first letter of your surname. If you are unable to join at the assigned time, there may be a delay in admitting you to the program:

    A-F: 3:30 pm

    G-K: 3:45 pm

    L-P: 4:00 pm

    Q-Z: 4:15 pm

    Once admitted to the program, you are free to attend to other tasks until the start of the program.
