THE CYFSA IN ACTION:
HOW WILL THE NEW ACT CHANGE THE WAY WE PRACTICE CHILD PROTECTION LAW?

This program will provide invaluable education and written materials on how the new CYFSA will change our approach to the practice of child protection cases in Ontario, including temporary care and custody hearings, the new best interests test, the new Indigenous provisions, including statutory findings, changes around access in extended society care cases, and changing affecting 16 and 17-year-old youth. Do not miss this essential program!

This program features chair, Justice Stanley Sherr, and speakers, Shuah Roskies, Counsel, Office of the Children’s Lawyer, Simon Fisch, Counsel, Children’s Aid Society of Toronto, and Sarah Clarke, Clarke Child and Family Law.
