Another reminder that the Law Society of Upper Canada is seeking input on its September 2014 discussion paper on Alternate Business Structures. The Law Society of Upper Canada is examining how the practice of law is organized in other jurisdictions and considering whether such structures are desirable in Ontario. The discussion paper as well as background reading materials are all on the LSUC website. The FLA will be providing its position on this issue as well.
