This panel of experts will address anti-Black racism and the overrepresentation of African Canadian children in the child welfare system. The panel will discuss the use of historical and current systemic racism and barriers in decision-making and advocacy; legal and social science tools for advocacy; tools for addressing issues with clients; expert and community resources.
This program has been approved as an Accredited Provider of Professionalism and Equity, Diversity and Inclusion credits by the Law Society of Ontario. It contains 1.5 EDI Professionalism hours.
