This event is featuring a talk by Dr. Victoria Talwar, Associate Professor at McGill University, on “Assessing the Credibility and Competency of Child Witnesses”.
Understand the capacities of children (including intellectual and language) and being sensitive to these when working with children. Explore issues related to interviewing children, and the impact of different questions, from both developmental psychology theoretical perspectives and practical applications in terms of best practice methods of interviewing children.
