Back to School! Education Issues in Family and Child Protection Law

A panel of experts will explain and discuss education law, including issues arising in both our custody and child protection cases involving expulsions, suspensions, home-schooling, and accommodating special needs students. 

This program features Chair, Justice Sheilagh O’Connell, and speakers, Andrea Himel (Lawyer and Mediator, Adjudicator, Child and Family Services Review Board), Megan Zelinka (Legal Coulee, Home School Legal Defense Fund), and John P. Schuman (Certified Specialist in Family Law and Education Lawyer).
